The regional dance called ‘the matka dance’ is performed by placing a pile of clay pots on head. The real task is to balance and not to slip the pots while dancing. The folk instruments such as surmai, sarangi, dhol and drum are used at the time of dandia and matka dance which goes on day and night. 

Sports of Sujangarh

Bird fight is the regional sport which excites most of the visitors in the camel fare as it is a rare sport and is also illegal. The birds are specially trained for these tournaments. Kho-kho and kabbadi are other sports enjoyed by Sujangarh city, while Pittu Garam (Seven Stones), the street-sport, is enjoyed by the children.
